how to make grilled cheese sandwiches..

hey bloggies..
today, I browsed the internet. I searched about how to make a grilled cheese sandwiches. check this out..
steps:

1. Turn on your clothes iron. Set the iron on its highest setting, (usually "Linen" or "Cotton").
2. Cut a piece of aluminum foil big enough to wrap all the way around the sandwich and have some extra on each open side. Put it on the counter or stovetop, shiny-side-up.
3. Butter two slices of bread. Put the slices on the foil, buttered sides down. Place the cheese on one of the slices of bread.
4. Fold the foil over to cover the sandwich completely, making sure the sandwich is closed and that no cheese is in contact with the foil.
5. Place the hot iron flat on the foil-wrapped sandwich, (this doesn't hurt the iron). Let the iron sit on the foil for about 30 seconds; peek inside to see if the sandwich has been toasted.
6. Flip the foil packet over when the first side is done; repeat the previous step.
7. Open the foil, and put the sandwich onto a plate.

tips:

• You can keep and reuse the foil several times. All you have to wash is a knife and a plate, and it takes less electricity than an electric stovetop with a frying pan.
• You can do this safely on your kitchen counter, but a heat-safe cutting board or a clear spot on the top of the stove is safer.
• Until you are familiar with how long it takes to cook, check the sandwich frequently. You can always cook it longer, but you can't un-burn it!
• This same technique can be used to make a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. Just add the ham to the sandwich as well as cheese. Regular lunchmeat style deli ham works fine.
• In the movie Benny and Joon, Sam makes grilled-cheese sandwiches with an iron. Although he doesn't use aluminum foil, watch the movie for some flipping techniques!
